The Cardiovascular Imaging and Clinical Research Core Laboratory (CIRCL) facilitates and promotes the performance of cardiovascular clinical research at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University.
A resource facility composed of physicians, research cardiac sonographers, and clinical scientists and available to all investigators. The CIRCL is dedicated to:
- Conducting and facilitating the performance of cardiovascular research by providing a single site for patient testing.
- Mentoring new investigators interested in clinical cardiovascular research.
- Conducting epidemiologic studies, outcomes research and cost-effective analyses in cardiovascular medicine.
